OUR VISION
Through self-sacrifice, silence, penance and prayer, The Carmelites Sisters offer their very lives as a prayer to God for all humanity.
WHAT WE DO
The Carmelites have a rigorous schedule consisting each day of eight hours of prayer, manual labor, some recreation as well as contemplation. They are always striving to make themselves more pleasing to God. The Carmelite Sisters adhere to strict silence so that their prayers may be more continuous.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our Carmelite Monastery in Morristown, NJ currently has 15 Sisters. We have also started a new Foundation in Malta and hope this will expand as more Sisters are called to this vocation.
