The Carmelite Sisters rely completely on donations and the charity of others. In addition to accepting donations to assist with our basic necessities, we also have a separate building fund to help us with repairs and maintenance of the Carmelite Monastery. BECOME A VOLUNTEER
If you are interested in volunteering to help us in the office, help us in maintaining the grounds, run errands or have other talents you would be willing to donate that could be of assistance, please let us know. We would be happy to discuss potential opportunities with you.
DONATE IN PERSON
In additon to accepting monetary assistance, we also accept very specific food items. The Carmelite nuns eat simple meals of bread, cheese, eggs, fish and fruit. These items may be dropped off in the Monastery office (next to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel statue). Paper products and certain cleaning supplies are also accepted. Please call the Carmelite Office or stop by for a complete list of needed items.
